How We Engage

There's no single right way to structure a search. The best model depends on the role, the urgency, and how much you need us embedded in the process. Here's how we typically work:

We think of these as the right tool for the right search, not a hierarchy. We'll recommend what makes sense after we understand your situation.

What We Take On

We work at every level — individual contributor through executive. But we evaluate whether a search is a fit before we take it on. That's not gatekeeping. It's how we protect your time and our credibility. We only engage when we're confident we can make the placement.

That means we'll ask real questions upfront: What does the comp look like? Is the hiring manager aligned? Have you tried to fill this before? We'd rather have an honest conversation now than waste your pipeline later.

If after a conversation we don't think we're the right fit, we'll say so — and often point you somewhere that is.

Most of the people we place weren't looking when we reached out. That's by design — we recruit passively, targeting professionals who are strong in their current roles and selectively open to the right move.
